We got our hands on the 2012 Toys R Us Big Toy Book this morning!
The toy book features 79 pages of the hottest toys of the 2012 holiday season and talks about convenient offerings such as the Toys R Us Price Match Guarantee, layaway, in store pick up for online purchases, and 10% cash back for Rewards “R” Us members. There are also details on the Great Big Toy Run Sweepstakes (a shopping spree at Toys R Us Times Square co-sponsored by Nickelodeon) and Toys for Tots. Oddly, no prices are given for the Furby toys or Wii U, though they are both featured in the toy book.
Here are a few of the toy catalog items that caught our eye:
- Lego Ninjago Epic Dragon Battle – save $40
- Barbie Sisters Cruise Ship – save $20
- Sesame Street LOL Elmo – $29.99
- Leapfrog LeapPad Explorer – $79.99
- Angry Birds Star Wars Early Bird Pack – $12.99
- Disney Princess Swirling Lights Cinderella – $24.99
- Apple 32G iPod touch – $299.99
- Wii Skylanders Giants Bundle – $149.99
Sale prices are good from Sunday October 28th through Wednesday November 21st, so keep in mind that these are not quite Black Friday prices. We’ll be sure to post the Toys R Us Black Friday ad as soon as we have it. Be sure to sign up to receive our Black Friday Alerts to be notified when we do.

I don’t drive. There are stores I WOULD shop at, but I’ve got no way there. Stores like “h&M” are missing out on a growing market- the handicapped. I am a consumer. But there are certain stores I can’t go to- their loss!
I have 3 kids and 6 grandkids- I buy clothes, toys, etc. I have to shop at stores that are ‘handicap friendly”
