LivingSocial Black Friday Deals Will Compete with Brick and Mortar Stores

LivingSocial is joining the Black Friday fray, allowing shoppers to snag Black Friday deals without fighting the crowds.  LivingSocial Black Friday Deals 2011For the first time, the daily deals vendor is forgoing its usual fare of spas, restaurants and cheap weekend getaways to offer online-only deals from retailers such as Bluefly, EA and Verizon Wireless beginning Black Friday and running through Cyber Monday. According to an Associated Press article, nearly all of the deals to be featured will be for 50% off or more, including less than half-price magazine subscriptions or $40 for $80 at Wine.com.

Best Buy Offers Early Access to Black Friday Deals for Members Only

Black Friday by BradsDeals has learned that Best Buy will offer early access to their Black Friday sale for members only. 2011 Best Buy Black Friday AdThe special sale offering Black Friday prices will run on Monday November 21st from noon to midnight EST and is only available online. Items ordered online through this special pre-Black Friday sale will not be eligible for in-store pickup.

To qualify for this members-only Black Friday sale, Best Buy customers must meet the following criteria:

  • You must be a Silver Rewards Zone member
  • Your Best Buy Rewards Zone account must be linked to your BestBuy.com account

To become a Silver Rewards Zone member, you must spend a minimum of $2,500 annually through your Best Buy Rewards Zone account, so the price of admission is pretty steep.

The thing that makes Wirefly’s Black Friday ad unique is that Wirefly is not a brick-and-mortar store, and yet they released a multi-page ad like brick-and-mortars do. Since they’re an internet retailer It seems like they would be better suited for a Cyber Monday sale, but the popular internet wireless store has decided to offer a four day sale beginning on Thanksgiving Day and running through Cyber Monday. The takeaway here is to shop early -the best wireless deals here may be out of stock by the time Cyber Monday finally arrives. Some highlights from the 2011 Wirefly Black Friday Ad include:

Black Friday Begins on Thanksgiving at Office Max, Bon-Ton and Dick’s Sporting Goods

2011 Office Max Black Friday DealsOffice Max holiday shoppers will be able to take advantage of Black Friday prices on Thanksgiving Day from the comfort of home. All Black Friday sale items will be offered at their Black Friday prices on the store’s website a full day before the doors open for the in store event. While there is no word yet on what items might be offered, we expect the deals to be competitive with those offered by rival Staples.

In addition to beginning Black Friday a day early, Office Max also has announced their “Black Friday Every Friday” promotion. Every Friday, one hot holiday item will be available online for one day only. The promotion will kick off on November 11 with the Toshiba L755-S5353 laptop, featuring an Intel Pentium B950 processor, 500GB hard drive and 4GB system memory for $369.99. Some deals will also be available in stores. Shoppers who text HOLIDAY to 62999 will receive a text message alerting them to the new sale item every Friday. ”Black Friday Every Friday” will run through December 16, 2011.
