Hello,
Thanks for the updates, question! Can you get any of these deals on the web or do you have to go to the store?
What is the best price I can get on a Mac computer. Regular laptop,
not notebook.
We don’t have any Apple deals yet, but hopefully we’ll see something soon!
I love Brad’s Deals, HOWEVER, I caution all consumers on purchasing any Dell products due to serious consumer relation issues stemming over serious product failures over the past couple of years. Insights from numerous other Dell owners, innumerable complaints filed with the company and online, and my own personal experience lead me to suggest avoiding any Dell product. The similarities of complaints and the horror stories of dealing with Dell technical and customer service, all out of India, was enough to send me back to the most reliable PC computers that I have owned, which have all been HP desktops and laptops. Apple remains the best all-time, problem-free computer that I have ever used, and I was in high school when the Commodore 64 was born, so my track history is pretty extensive. The exact details of my Dell experience began with a SEP2011 purchase of a Dell package. The monitor was immediately shipped and billed to the Dell account, thus requiring payment prior to having the desktop, which I was notified a few days after purchase would be delayed for some weeks. It finally arrived about six (6) weeks later and had so many issues that after two to three weeks of battling with technical support and demanding a return and refund, they authorized a new desktop. Fine… not happy but I figured I’d give it a try. The new unit arrived and it I got nothing but the “Blue Screen of Death” (BSD/BSoD) upon powering it up. I returned that one and demanded a return and refund. It was December before the refund was approved BUT I did NOT get my refund until APR2012… and that only happened because I called the Dell corporate offices in Texas and the lady who oversees government and educational institution accounts made it happen. When Dell Finance, also based in India when you call) “refunded” all of my money, but it failed to arrive by MAY2012, I had to contact the lady in Texas once again! Although she was at a convention/conference, she emailed me back, made one call, and within HOURS, my money miraculously appeared. Although it would seem impossible for money to appear that quickly, thus making this an incredible coincidence of timing, I cannot believe that money supposedly refunded TWO MONTHS earlier would suddenly arrive hours after the lady emailed me that she would take care of it.
So, words of caution, especially because the last gift you want to give anyone, especially yourself, is a nine-month headache. Sadly, in talking with many people I come in contact with due to work, I heard the same stories, and even sadder was that their battles with Dell went far beyond a mere nine months.
Dell, prior to sending everything overseas (my computer parts came from overseas and the computer was built in Mexico) and being in the stores, was a solid product. Not anymore in my experience. Very much a hit or miss-badly experience.
Thanks to Brad’s Deals for many awesome deals!
